A Zane’s Way Perspective

Zane’s Way is a little band that brings you big sound!

A technological innovation called “programming” allows the band to fill any size room with any size sound! The band’s sound has entrigued both small and large festival audiences, country clubs, corporate parties, showcases and many other events through out Chicagolandand other midwest states. This band has opened for national acts like The Beatles 1964 Tribute Band, The Association, Gary Puckett,(formerly of the Union Gap), The Buckinghams,The Lovin' Spoonful and Gary Lewis and The Playboys among others! The most common compliment that the band hears is “you sound just like the record...only better”!

Zane’s Way music appeals to audiences of all ages! There is a “little something” for everyone who enjoys music of the ‘60’s, ‘70’s,and the ‘80’s! Not only the “baby boomers”, but also everyone in the audience will find themselves “dancing or singing the night away”!

Zane’s Way's is committed to an authentic, family friendly and professional performance.

Zane’s Way leader, Dave Zane, has been a national performer playing with many bands over the course of his musical career, and he has carefully selected a bassist and drummer/vocalist to fill their musical bill. There is excellence in the vocal harmonies and quality of sound production of the band members who fill the stage.

Zane’s Way would like to leave you with some of the compliments they have received by others who had watched and heard them perform:

The 1964 Beatles Tribute Band

Upon arriving at the gig the song “I Wanna Know What Love Is”, by Foreigner, was being played by Zane’s Way. The members of the Tribute Band commented, “We thought Foreigner was backing us up!”

Len Gary, Original Beatle of The Quarry Men

Len played bass with John Lennon when he was 14, and introduced Paul McCartney to John. Len became very ill, close to death, and was not able to continue on with the Quarry men. “The chaps look very professional and have a remarkable quality to their sound and great harmonies, stage presentation and an outstanding vocal range.”

Ray Reynolds of Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds Hit Song: “Don’t Pull Your Love” - 1972

“I heard you guys playing “The Flame” by Cheap Trick early on, and was thoroughly impressed with the vocal range. Then I thought that “Dream Police” would be the ultimate test, and guess what, you passed the test with flying colors! You guys are hot and going places that’s for sure.”
